UI performance at low sim speed
Currently if sim speed drops, UI responsiveness also suffers to the point that you may not be able to exit the game. In most applications UI elements are their own entity that interfaces with the rest of the application to send or retrieve data as needed. I would like to see the existing integrated UI extracted to its own processing layer. Doing this will benefit SE in three ways.
1. Higher perceived responsiveness (lower user frustration)
2. Improved client side sim
3. Improved ModAPI access/maintainability
