Radar & cloaking
I think radar give back gps cordinates the range is same as the real. The cloaking device is projecting the image in front of the ship. You can't se de diference in big distance but if you getting closer you will see the diference. (Like in the new spiderman moovie.) It can not hide from the radar block. The radar givee back a gps cordinate or distance and angle, so you can simply calculate the position of the think. (It mesure every think in the are. And it is not telling you what it is. Choise is your task.)

If they did implement radar I would love it if the hull of your ship could be designed to defeat it much like they do with stealth planes. Would probably be hard to do though :(

Radar is also really needed for multiplayer servers with huge maps. We have dedicated PvP server but we wanted world with planets. And is impossible to find someone in world of this size. As you said. You can only get back some GPS with "there is something" (ship, asteroid, etc.) Just some block eventually with high power consumption with range minimum 50km because you can try to find someone between Earth and Mars...

this is realy needed. as i exposed in one of my posts, the game NEEDS a way to find players in hidance. something balanced, that would start ginving hits of the presence of an odd object around 120k off it, and then getting more precise as you come closer (first general direction, then type (ship or station), then aproximate size, then exact position)

Please help support my "Furniture and Greenhouse" idea. It really is a good idea, if I say so myself. Personally, I think the game has overlooked a vital part of ship building. We have no furniture, like beds and desks or no bathroom items, like sinks, toilets and showers. Anyway, there's more to my idea, I would appreciate any votes. Thank you.
