Parachute Deployment should work without Power
Auto-Deploy should require power but manually opening them through the control panel should open the hatches regardless if the ship is powered or not

I would use parachutes on my planet ships for emergencies e.g. , when the ship's power runs out. But in this case the chute wont open...

What about a modified version of parachute, which requires one additional battery and antenna component? With this version, parachute will have enough energy for itself for long time (put it on single container for autodeploy etc), and it will also be possible to activate it using your suit's antenna.

Well auto-deploy suggests that there's a sensor involved which would require power. Deploying manually would allow the gas canisters to blow the hatch off (similar to an ejector seat) without the need for power

Please help support my "Furniture and Greenhouse" idea. It really is a good idea, if I say so myself. Personally, I think the game has overlooked a vital part of ship building. We have no furniture, like beds and desks or no bathroom items, like sinks, toilets and showers. Anyway, there's more to my idea, I would appreciate any votes. Thank you.
