More realistic antenna/laser antenna ranges and power consumption.
It would be good to change the antenna ranges and power consumption, currently it is just not really worth it to use the laser antenna due to the short range and high power consumption, in reality it would have more range and more power efficient than a normal antenna. It would also be good thing to add a reason to motivating using a laser antenna in single player, for example less chance being attacked by the AI. Antenna: + Cheap +Low power efficiency +No line of sight required -Publicly visible -Short range Laser Antenna: +Long range +High power efficiency +Not visible -Expensive -Line of sight required

+1 The reality is a 10w laser can communicate over a million miles of space.

A radio antenna has really good range in space, too. A hell of a lot more than fifty kilometers. Most of the shortcomings of both systems are a side effect of terrestrial usage.

Please help support my "Furniture and Greenhouse" idea. It really is a good idea, if I say so myself. Personally, I think the game has overlooked a vital part of ship building. We have no furniture, like beds and desks or no bathroom items, like sinks, toilets and showers. Anyway, there's more to my idea, I would appreciate any votes. Being able to setup actions over other grids could certainly be a motivation to use the laser antenna. A sensor wich could detect stuff and give you a warning on a light or sound block on a remote grid. detecting enemys or asteroids. And apart from that many more purpuses could be used if sensor timer blocks and button panels could interact with other grids by ways of antenna

p.s. not to mention a seperate block on the surface with laser and normal antenna to connect a deep undergorund base to a far away base in space.
