Having the option for locking mechanisms not to be affected by lock button.
My idea is to have the option to tell a connector or similar locking mechanisms to ignore the lock keybind. For example, a carrier would have it so it's main connector would be the only one that would lock when the player presses p. the connectors for the smaller ships would be ignored.
I'd think this would also be applied to things like landing gears and merge blocks as well.
