FPS drops when rendering collisions, creating large structures, and when loading maps.
Hello guys! For the most part the game runs extremely smooth for me at about 120 FPS with medium graphics (no anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering x8) and view distance at 20 Km. The only issues are when the game first loads up there is a bit of lag where I get about 4-9 FPS but it only lasts for about 30 seconds. There are also these spikes when I try to place a large amount of blocks, and especially when two ships (or more) are colliding. Now these spikes don't affect the overall immersion of the game for the most part, except the FPS drop when colliding ships. If there was any way for you guys to streamline the collisions so that the game doesn't grind to a halt when trying to calculate the collision I'd appreciate that.
